NI (National Instruments, referred to as NI), as a supplier dedicated to providing engineers and scientists with solutions to help them cope with the world's most severe engineering challenges, recently appeared at the 2016 Industrial Automation Exhibition and focused on showing its orientation to the Industrial Internet of Things. The big data system solution of the company integrates NI's leading industrial measurement, asset condition monitoring and factory testing solutions to provide innovative and efficient solutions for the vigorous development of China's industrial Internet of Things.

The Internet of Things has become the common goal of every country and every industry. Whether it is the "Made in China 2025" and "Internet +" proposed by China, the "Industrial Internet" advocated by the United States or the "Industry 4.0" created by Germany, they all promote An important national strategic goal for the development of industrial interconnection. In this era of engineering and measurement data explosion, if companies do not develop a sound data management strategy, they will not be able to effectively deal with and manage all data in a few years. And NI's platform-based solutions for the Industrial Internet of Things can help companies simplify development and improve efficiency, thereby greatly reducing time to market and creating greater business value.

NI will focus on exhibiting solutions for building industrial IoT big data systems at this exhibition. NI platform solutions can be used as analog IoT/M2M gateways to collect, aggregate, and digitize analog data. Secondly, NI also launched the InsightCM Enterprise suite, which provides infrastructure/cloud layer data management and transmission, data analysis and system management software for big data analysis and mining. Among them, one of the highlights is that NI demonstrated the predictive maintenance solutions built with its partners during the CIIF and the latest products that support Time Sensitive Networking (TSN) to help companies speed up project development time and improve software development. Efficiency, improve processing power and enhance scalability, while greatly reducing the total system cost, so as to obtain greater commercial value and buyer value.

At this expo, NI brought the following products to the display:

• Predictive maintenance solution based on NI InsightCM + OSIsoft PI system + Zhongruitai iEM intelligent platform

• Automatic material sorting system based on NI CompactRIO intelligent system

• CompactRIO intelligent system supporting TSN technology

• Automated test platform with the help of NI PXI platform

"The trend of device intelligence and interconnection will promote the development of technologies such as processors and FPGAs, wireless connections, low-cost sensing, and software. NI expects to show how its industrial IoT platform based on these technologies can help through this exhibition. Enterprises quickly build industrial IoT systems.” said Rahman Jamal, NI Global Technology and Marketing Director, “NI will continue to address the needs and application directions of users in the industry in the future, including intelligent industrial control, mechanical equipment fault diagnosis, and distributed online status monitoring. The application provides an intelligent and convenient embedded system design platform and a unified application architecture to help the rapid development of China's industrial Internet of Things."
